Let it dry and then paint the stripe color. When you remove the tape you will have a very clean line edge.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06371882750704972963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1894941228318204664.post-45549263366160756042013-09-06T21:26:22.731-07:002013-09-06T21:26:22.731-07:00Benjamin Moore's "Hale Navy"Benjamin Moore's "Hale Navy"Amy https://www.blogger.com/profile/06336078525508738374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1894941228318204664.post-85511522859519503972013-09-06T09:52:48.374-07:002013-09-06T09:52:48.374-07:00What is the navy color called and who makes it?What is the navy color called and who makes it?Allison @ House of Hepworthshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02408425812774322115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1894941228318204664.post-11623529422449957182013-05-21T11:16:35.167-07:002013-05-21T11:16:35.167-07:00I am loving the horizontal stripes! However, having been on the receiving end of a not-so-great stripe painting experience in the past, I OBSESSED over bleeding this time. I went over the edge the painter's tape about a million times with my fingernail to make sure it was down as tight as it could be and then I also painted over the tape with the base color to seal the lines. The result = no bleeding at all and one happy painter of stripes. I feel your pain...!

Cheers,
Hilary (www.lifeisbutadrink.com) Hilary @ Life Is But A Drinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11126857763503869799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1894941228318204664.post-3191455227538777692013-05-18T09:54:47.245-07:002013-05-18T09:54:47.245-07:00Thanks Emma! Like I said I spaced the taping over a few days but painting all has to be done in one day and tape removed as soon as your done!Amy https://www.blogger.com/profile/06336078525508738374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1894941228318204664.post-65014561360424531292013-05-18T04:24:14.737-07:002013-05-18T04:24:14.737-07:00It looks fantastic!
